The Stroll Must Go On! 2020 marks the 12thAnnual Greenwich Holiday Stroll. This year’s event, amidstthe COVID pandemic, sets its sights on a new event for a new day. We are excited to announce thefirst-ever“Virtual Greenwich Holiday Stroll, 24 Days of Holiday Shopping & Dining”, December 1-24, 2020.

The Virtual Greenwich Holiday Stroll features 24days of short videos highlighting local retail storesand restaurantsthroughout downtown Greenwich, Byram, Glenville, Cos Cob, and Riverside. Over 100merchantsare anticipated to participate. All merchantswill be sharing their holiday merchandise, gift ideas, festive wares, services, signatures dishes, celebratory cocktails, and more through fun and engaging videos broadcast on Greenwich Holiday Stroll multi-media and digital platforms December 1-24.

The Virtual Greenwich Holiday Stroll, 24 Daysof Holiday Shopping & Dining is an innovative and informative way for local retailers and restaurateurs to connectwith the community and communicate allthe wonderful shopping and celebrating that can safely be enjoyed this holiday season. From online ordering, delivery, and curbside pick-up options, to trending fashion and home décor, all can be viewed,and often purchased, from the comfort of one’s homeor researched prior to visiting the store.Need some holiday entertaining inspiration or a safe spacedining option for small festive gatherings with friends, family, and co-workers? Consumers can view the many retail store and restaurant virtual tours, cooking demonstrations, and mixology classes found on the Greenwich Holiday Stroll website, social media platforms, media partner platforms, and Greenwich Holiday Stroll YouTube.

12th Annual Greenwich Reindeer Festival

Santa’s LIVE reindeer – Dasher, Dancer and Prancer are “coming to town” for the 12h Annual Greenwich Reindeer Festival to Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses, 437 North Street, Greenwich, Connecticut, from November 27 to December 22, 2020. Despite the ongoing concerns due to the coronavirus pandemic, the cherished town tradition continues for the twelfth consecutive year at the expansive nursery where visitors can meet the reindeer, pick out their Christmas tree, holiday wreaths and plantings and enjoy the beautiful Christmas Shop for unique holiday gifts, all just minutes from downtown Greenwich. Parking is free. All visitors must wear a face mask and social distance while visiting Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses, both inside and outside. Santa will be staying at the North Pole this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, but wants to assure all children that he looks forward to visiting their homes Christmas Eve. Santa is so excited that he can send his three reindeer to visit his many friends in Greenwich this year. The reindeer arrive Friday, November 27 to Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses where they’ll make their home until they return to the North Pole, Tuesday, December 22. Sam Bridge is open Monday through Saturday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Sam Bridge is closed on Sundays.
